Aaron Rodgers Is Becoming More Than Just A Distraction

It’s been a busy few days for New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers who has been tapped by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a possible running mate on his presidential bid. The increased scrutiny has forced Rodgers to address his previous comments about the veracity of the Sandy Hook mass shooting. Rodgers’ “apology” rang completely hollow and did nothing to reassure Jets fans that he will be focused on football this season. Dan Beyer & Monse Bolaños, in for Doug Gottlieb today, have to assume his teammates and front office are less than pleased with this turn of events.

Dan Beyer: “To take away time from your football season? I’m sure there’s some New York Jets that want (Aaron Rodgers) cut...because guess what, this isn’t going to get better.”

Monse Bolaños: “I don’t see how we go back at this point; how he goes back...it’s almost worse than (just) a distraction.”
